Airport
There are 3 airports in Istanbul:
- 1 closer to the venue in the Asian (Anatolian) side of the city, Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW)Â
and 2 in the European side of the city:Â
- Istanbul Airport (IHL)Â
- and only for charter and private flights Ataturk Airport (IST).
Public Transport
You can use local dolmush, bus, metro, metrobus or taxis.

Weather
The weather in Istanbul is always changing. At the beginning of June you can expect 22-25 C degree (72-75 F degree) during the day and 13-15 C degree (55-60 F degree) during the night. Please be sure that you have your layers, rain boots and umbrella at all times.
Visa

Currency
The official currency is the Turkish Lira.
Euros and Dollars are generally not accepted.
To get Turkish Lira you can withdraw money at ATMs or exchange your cash easily in the city.
Credit cards are accepted everywhere.
